It was just supposed to be a family vacation.

A war-time crime changed everything.

You never know what you’re truly capable of, until they try to destroy your family.

When former battlefield nurse Claire Harrow receives an unexpected gift from beyond the grave, an all-expenses paid vacation to New Zealand to hike the Milford Track, she jumps on the chance to take her daughter to one of the most beautiful places in the world.

But as soon as they set foot on the Track and meet the other members of the hiking party, which is full of troubled veterans of the Great War, everything feels wrong. Then a violent assault on a member of the party propels the Harrows from an unsettling situation into an absolute nightmare.

When her daughter, June, is separated from her, Claire initiates a search to try and find her, knowing that their pursuers won’t hesitate to kill whoever gets in their way as they take their revenge for Claire’s wartime actions.

Now it’s up to Claire to save herself and her daughter, even though she has no way of reaching out to the police for help, the harsh bushland is filled with danger, and other people on the trek want her dead. COMING SPRING 2027…
